Does someone know how many chapters the view of ML is, before we go into present?
Its hard to say because in the novel around these chapters we got 3 povs 1 for the main story and 2 side stories, which one is Ilex’s pov. Idk how they will organize in the manhwa

its actually a bit faster than i expected since it wouldve been longer if the artist dived into ml's thought process more. maybe it will take no more than 10 chapters before the timeskip where they meet again

It's bothering me a bit that they don't listen or don't really ask more when he said that he is human.
Im pretty sure he did but others assume it's just a story setting or a personality of the portrait
The reason they don't belive him is because while he isn't lying from his perspective from there's it makes even less sense. Would you believe someone who says they are a human when everything in you is screaming they aren't? Its hard to think he isn't being intentionally facetious if you can tell he is at least a god tier being. Him thinking he is still human and insisting on that is inconsequential when he is now two people meshed into one, friends and dinner partners with a god, can create objects, animals, and worlds, and can teleport. To them this being that is clearly god-like is insisting it is human while being clearly not.
I think they believe that he *was* ounce a human, but now is a mysterious, powerful being
The thing is Jio insist that he is STILL a human, a human trapped in a portrait, but would you call him human??
Yes he is kind, and has human values and empathy, but physically he is no longer a human
He can't feel hunger or pain, or even digest food, that's not a human
