i'm reading a bunch of bls lately, just cos it's fun and i need distractions from my shitty life. but it's truly rare nowadays to have such meaningful story like this one. i think the last time i've felt this way is when i was reading "reunion." makes u think how there are truly authors out there who still write with passion, who shows a lil bit of themselves to their readers. i miss reading stories like this! makes me cry, but it's real.
a bit cliché, but y'all clearly haven't experienced extreme poverty to be talking like that. yeah the mc is a pushover twink, but that's what u do when u barely have any money or power to protect urself. u kiss ppl's asses and hope for the best.
i like the mc bc he's honest abt how he feels. when the ml put him on the same level as the ppl who bullied him, it weirdly gave him a sense of "liberation" bc for once, someone didn't see him as beneath them. the ml is literally at the top of the food chain.
the ml is stupid and out of touch, but to the mc, he's everything he wants to be.

oh, man! those shaky panels did something to me. it's like i can actually hear their voices, like i'm watching a film. kudos to the artists/writers. i am clearly excited to read this!
