I think this was a gem amongst a lot of trash in the yaoi territory. It covered everything: serious, occasionally funny, romantic, natural, ...
I also really liked how 'realistic' the art felt. Sure we had stunning MCs, but not over the top. Even body proprotions felt more real than any other manga I have read so far. As for the plot, genuinely amazing. We have a deep enough backstory that isn't sooo over the top you can't relate to it, nor is it too little to not feel with the characters. Very realistic! And I'm just a sucker for love being something consistent that helps heal wounds.

Hey guys, I've been searching for a pretty short yaoi (around 5-6 chapters) where a highschool kid gets involved with a college playboy.
I distinctly remember the highschool kid having black hair, and internalizing things his sister taught him when he was younger (like "be kind" and "help the people in need"). I also remember said sister to be very girlboss, making an appearance towards the end where she doesn't approve of the couple.
The other guy is this blondie, I believe around college age (tho never really specified) and just living very hedonistic (drinking, clubbing, one night stands, ect.). I also remember that he affords his lifestyle by gambling (he seems to be very lucky lmao).
Here are also some distinct scenes I remember (not chronological!):
- they meet in an alley where highschooler finds blondie (i think he was drugged by some people that don't like him)
- their relationship starts out physical but turns romantic
- highschooler forbids blondie sex during exam season so he can study, he then complains that the library is always super loud - cue blondie nonchalantly offering his apartment for quiet space
- highschooler kinda mistakes hot young mom of blondie as his girlfriend and gets disappointed
Idk guys, I really want to read it again to see if it was the same as I remembered, but I can't seem to find it :(

Its crazy that in 70 chapters, there wasn't a shred of character developement. Like that's a skill to suck at writing that much.
