Fan Translators of Korean novels have started dropping their translations or taking down their translations because people can't just stfu like oh my god even manhwas are not safe now,
unlike china where there is a firewall the publisher or platforms hosting the novels do not know which novel is being illegally translated because they can't access foreign websites without restrictions, korean publishers, readers and authors on the other hand are much more exposed to foreign media and apps like insta and tiktok, and let me tell you for a fact that publishers and authors are ruthless when it comes to finding illegal fan translations and taking them down
They can and they will sue the translator and even have websites taken down, I'm so tired of people naming unofficial titles, translations and all wether it be koreans novels or manhwas, like on tiktok, X and even insta some idiots are like "recommending some of my favourite bl manhwas/novels + where to read them" and shit like that
Like most websites hosting korean novels and manhwas are down or have vanished because of these absolute idiots even if manhwas get an official translation most kr novels do not and then shouting for everyone and there freaking mother to hear on the internet about where to read these, like please no matter how underated you think your face are only recommended to people in the community unless you are reading official stuff, like gatekeep people who are truly interested and want to be in the community will find their way, like they used to back then.

It also doesn't prove anything I was arleady into Yaoi(vns,anime and manga) but I only started reading manwha in 2025. Does that mean I'm a larper? No, I have read 140 in less than a year. What was her point in doing so? She piss me off so bad. She is also a rich brat who can afford to buy them legally.
They already know it exist but that doesn't mean they know their manhwa is being translated here or who is translating their manhwa,so its better to just not share the picture online to not create problem and insecurity for the translator.they have been translating all of this by their own for us to be able to read it and also for free.the minimum we can do for them is to not share the translation anywhere.Its a common sense.
