Uke was also used to being treated poorly and there was a scene of him actually sleeping outside the seme’s room on the floor or when uke was unsure if he could eat certain foods or fruits onto the ship when it was kinda obvious anyone could take it..?

Just had to rant on the topic of the mc (who is most commonly the person getting this treatment, god knows why) getting for example, betrayed, heartbroken or is just treated a certain way that upsets them, USUALLY because of the ml —
To which the ml, being the “alpha male” they are, approaches a solution which is to simply fix it through sex.. and then BOOM, one chapter of sex and they’re forgiven for like 4 chapters worth of pain.. (even worse if it was something really serious and it was all forgiven through hate sex like what?)
Like dare I say that is case for most BL now, it’s super toxic which I understand a lot of people can be interested. And I can’t stop it obviously, but it’s just a big reason I drop a story and go back to one’s with a “shounen ai” tag and had to rant about yet again
