One of my biggest issues with Riftan’s character is now he perceives Maxi as someone docile and only to be spoiled while he takes on the mess. Even in many times she has stated that type of life isn't satisfactory for her. She’s even gained awareness that she’s limiting herself in this bubble and will in fact create a piling burden if she can’t fight her own battles.
He dumb asf if he still can't register in his head she also wants to be strong to protect him and also willing to take sacrifices. Acting as if she getting drafted for war for 3 years then suddenly trauma dumping to threaten her to stay.. (⊙…⊙ )
