it’s so disturbing and i’m genuinely concerned about how widespread this « fantasy » seems to be among korean authors, especially given how many real-life cases involve people being sexually assaulted while asleep, drunk, or drugged (essentially anytime they couldn't consent). i know this is driven by supply and demand from the readers, which makes me just as worried about the audience as i am about the creators. what makes it worse is that the characters almost always know that what they’re doing is wrong and know it’s a violation, yet it keeps happening anyway. it’s just so exhausting.
