Yeah I also loathe when people assume “a child needs a mother figure” so the dad brings in a new woman to fill the slot, as if that’s not going be traumatic as well. Of course having a step parent who cares can be life changing, but in a lot of Asian comics, they talk about it as if it’s a role to be filled by whatever random woman who is willing to remarry the father
Only the duke does not have ironic personality like capable to be economically smart but stupid at the same time. The duke remains incapable to be a decent human all throughout the chapters. I atleast applaud this part. Consistent character and unforgivable.
