The best thing to do is just to have more discipline in yourself! You can enjoy stories more when you know you don't have any looming deadlines coming up. For better "escapes" try things that are beneficial to you (Ex. working out, going outside for a little bit, or you could pick up a hobby that's more creative and less "doomscroll"-y like writing...... 1 reply
