i think mio is so much more mature than shun, like it's not a competition ofc, i love this story so much and i relate to shun a lot.
mio feels way more mature even while keeping this almost innocent purity, while shun is just a whole pile of pessimism. their dynamic is so nice to read, i really wish we got a second movie for this second part of the story bc it's so good.
im reading this since 2021 and im not ready to see the end of it, but at the same time i was hoping to the end of this story for so long it is good to be alive
I was so afraid of a sad ending because of the circumstances involving yokai and humans, but trusting Amamiya-sensei is always the right choice.
I love the art and how cute, cozy, and wholesome everything they make in their work is.
I absolute love this story! The beginning is so intriguing and mysterious that you just wanna binge the whole thing in one sitting. But honestly, the more I read, the weirding the pacing felt. Like, don't get me wrong, I'm still really into the story and I adore the MC, but that slow pace felt pretty unnecessary. Finding out it's adapted from a novel made it all click, it definitely works better in written form, but still, it could've done with way less filler.
Either way, I'm loving it, Sylhan and Gjord are my absolute favs.
Also, I need Lister to die a slow and painful death pls someone torture him, I hate this motherfucker so much.
Felt the same way, such a shame cs the artist translate sylhan's mind very well visually, the paneling and expression also very effective in making us doubt everything (esp gjord).
Also, Its nice that they don't go full exposition to explain the political set ups but it makes the reader come in with loose footing in understanding the story.
you’ve summed up my exact thoughts. i got to chapter 80 and most to all of the mystery is still unsolved, sylhan still hasn’t gotten his memory, and it just feels so drawn out
is it just me or have there been a lot more crazy good short stories like this one these days? cause damn this was phenomenal, amazing, so good every second, but at the same time so so short that it leaves us hanging and hungrier for more... i love both of them, theyre so beautiful and the chemistry was at a high level, now i just hope the author decides to extend this at some point
the art is so yummy, the uke is just so fucking sexy that i kept getting distracted while reading just admiring his tits... but i thought the ending story-wise was kinda messy or rushed, like from the part where some senpai tried to force the uke it just felt like a bunch of clichés being thrown in without much reason for the story that was being built up, and them having to be childhood friends too was kinda random, idk, it felt a little forced maybe... but anyways it was still really fun and i loved it, i wish there was more
the story started really well, all the characters are really interesting and the mc and ml are incredibly cute, even tho they fuck every second lol, but my problem which idk if its really a problem, is that i feel like the author is getting a little lost with the story plot... it kinda feels like the ideas just keep coming up as they go, like its all being improvised, idk, i get this feeling with every new volume, i hope in the end we get a satisfying ending with everything in the story, but theres no denying that sometimes there are some absurdly convenient things happening, anyways im loving reading it, its really fun
