So they're following the novel plot after all??? But then the smut scene makes nooooo fucking sense cuz the characters are still in denial??? Genuinely how??? What was the point in adding it other than to make the season have a mature rating/attract brainless smut readers idgi. I'm gonna pretend the smut scene never happened because it looks like the manhwa is doing the same LMFAO
Completely different direction from the novel (in fact there's a lottt more development before the first kiss, and even the smut comes way after) and all this development is suuuuuper rushed which makes me believe it's going to end soon due to possibly being cancelled
If that's not the case,I honestly don't mind adaptations being different since it's a different medium and all but these changes aren't really very coherent considering the context of the characters at present, and the changes seem to be for the worse. The original confession scene was sooo cute and I'm pretty sure Haewon confessed first, it was really cute and wholesome and the fact that scene won't be adapted makes me sad :(
I hateee the fan part of the manhwa. Like no offense to the girlie but it adds nothing to me like idc about viewing Moondae from the fan POV, maybe it's because I don't engage in idol fan culture at all (and to be frank I find most of it really weird and exploitative from both idol and fan sides) it just takes me out of the story completely. Especially cuz we don't really know or meant to care about her since we know nothing outside of her fangirling over Moondae. To add to that, I also find it pandering to have Moondae monologuing in his thoughts like "I'm doing this to make fans happy, I hope they got their money's worth", "I'm happy to do this for the fans" and shit like that it feels so fake?? Like idk it seems more like wish fulfilment. This is just me being nitpicky because it's not catering to my tastes lol.

Yunseong is literally the funniest bottom ever the things he says when they're fucking anyways gets me
