I almost dropped this but the premise kept me hooked. The first half of the story was pretty weak… like REALLY weak…but my GOD the second half was so good in all the ways I wanted it to be.
The timeline back and forth was kind of choppy and mildly confusing because it was cut with like daydreams/hallucinations too but if you can make even a little sense of those I think the payoff is worth it.
