I wish he played his cards right, why did he accept that marriage? He shouldn't have gone back in the first place. If he really loved his daughter, he shouldn't have exposed her to such nasty people. Now he has to find a way to escape. And yes he does take a lot of shit from this people, but he still comes out on top, why? Because he won't take any of their money and he gets to defend himself and his daughter every two seconds while shouting did just hear what I said??? So he has to be such a tough cookie..... Nkt! This is bullshit. His biggest card was that he has the right to say no to the marriage which essentialu meant he had control of their future, but he acted like a big fish going... Whaaat, whattt?? There has to be something wrong somewhereee? Whaaat?? That pissed me off so much. And this chapter where he's supposedly locked up in a room but his daughter stayed in a store room?? Is he dumb? He's stayed in that through out his child hood but he somehow conveniently forgot the way out. And somehow, he didn't even think to consider going out the window. Pissed me off. He's also not under the influence of pheromones but still keeps saying, I can't say nooo when he asks that off mee referring to the samean who's treating him like shit and chose not to trust him or even listen to him. I could go on forever . Reading this made me feel like I offended someone and as punishment I somehow started reading this .... Annoying as hell
And don't get me started on the family. They al share one brain cell but still keep throwing around the word educated like it means anything. If say , when the will read as it did .... Of course they would be outraged and all that but soon after even the following day, they switch up and become so sickly sweet that it's a whole different kind of suffocating. And say there was still times their true intentions showed and somehow even we the readers almost fell for it but all this was just to get the main character which fucks up with his mind in a different kind of way because growing up, he always wanted to be a part of the family but now that he he's still so empty because he realizes Even when nice to him they will never be his family. The only person who would maybe still be cold af would be Winston because he's beef is personal and he's egoistic as fuck but the main character would be capable of continually putting him on his place and just outsmart everyone and come out on top while leaving them with nothing. That would make a better story. And instead of making all this other characters such as the mom just evil and mean .... Give her such a deep and twisted history that makes it impossible to ignore.... Instead of just being plain old characters let everyone have a different kind of history with of the dad.he should be the ultimate villain , especially since he's already dead.The family should have unique complicated feelings especially jealousy tied to the mc in relation to the dad, which would make the inheritance games hit that much harder...... Anything would be better than the actual storyline
I actually agree a lot honestly the story is so obvious as soon as you understand the mc was sa by the dad it's so implied so atp you're just gonna read every chapter waiting for it to be found out while seeing everyone abuse the ml which also doesn't make really smart decisions? Nobody in this story is really smart it's a bit annoying if anything just a lot of heavy plot it feels like those old telenovelas mom would watch or the classic obvious dramatic plots with mc abused by everyone but somehow even less original
I wonder if the author gets feedback from the readers or do they only get the wrong feedback?is this intentional? This story had so much potential but now it's just torcher. I feel so hopeless and enraged anytime I read this but I'm always so hopeful so anytime It gets new chapters I have to read because I need closure I can't imagine Leon never escaping.
