So I got an explanation from someone who has read the novel, and here's how the story works.
To make it easier to follow, I'll call them:
1. MC Uke 1 = the original MC from the game world (the one we've been following since Episode 1).
2. MC Uke 2 = the MC we suddenly see starting in Episode 61.
A lot of people are probably wondering: "What happened in Episode 61? Why did everything suddenly change?"
Here's the explanation.
The MC we've been reading about from Episode 1 to Episode 60 is actually MC Uke 1, who originally belongs to the game world (the world with monsters and action).
When MC Uke 1 dies at the end of Episode 60, the story shifts to MC Uke 2's POV in Episode 61.
MC Uke 2 originally lives in a normal slice-of-life world with no monsters or action. One day, while playing the game, he gets isekai'd (transported) into the game world. At the same time, MC Uke 1 is sent to MC Uke 2's original world. This body/world swap actually happened when MC Uke 2 was about 9 years old.
So technically, from Episode 1 until Episode 60, we've been reading the story of MC Uke 1 after he returned to his original game world.
This also explains why MC Uke 2 meets Lee Jihee (the ML) in Episode 61. Lee Jihee also exists in the slice-of-life world. And from the way they interact... it really looks like Jihee immediately falls for him (or at least starts flirting with him ). It's kind of funny because even in a different world or dimension, fate still seems determined to keep them together.
Novel spoiler ahead:
From what I've heard, Episode 62 goes back to MC Uke 1. He's alive again because the ML uses regression after finally meeting him once more.
If we go back to Episode 1, remember how MC Uke 1 first met the ML? Apparently, after MC Uke 1 dies, the ML regresses to an earlier point in time (I think about three months before MC Uke 2 swaps with MC Uke 1).
Instead of waiting for fate to bring them together again, the ML waits near MC Uke 1's apartment for him to come back. This time, their reunion is supposed to be much more romantic.
Just to be clear, I haven't read the novel myself. Everything I've written here is based on spoilers and explanations from novel readers, so please take it with a grain of salt.
Hopefully this clears things up and helps anyone who's confused after Episode 61! And sorry if my explanation isn't perfect liek before English isn't my first language, but I tried my best to make it easy to understand.

I really appreciate that u explained to us, tyy^^. But from what I read fr ur text, mc 2 is the pov we are reading now and mc 1 is eps 1-60? What confuses me is who is who... Like mc 2 is originally from the real world but suddenly swapped/entered the game at 9 yrs old which also triggered mc 1 to also isekai to the game?? Help I feel like having a stroke
Yes MC 2 is what we are reading now (only eps 61), and what we read is MC 1 from eps 1-60.
And for your second question. Originally, MC 1's place is in the game, meanwhile MC 2 is not in the game. So when MC 2 9th yrars old was playing the game where MC 1 in, its suddenly make MC 2 swapped with MC 1.
When they big enough like we read at eps 1, they suddenly got swap again with the same pattern. But, MC 2 finally cameback to his original world/dimension (slice of life genre/not in the game world like we read now in eps 61), while MC 1 cameback to his original world (and its in the game).
I think this is the short explanation i can conclude from what i write before.

You know what? THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. Becauze Im just glad the MC is not female. I mean, im afraid this will become reverse harem (which is why i dont like it)...
