Reading kiss me if you can, i really really hated grayson, but reading this he's a way more interesting character than i thought, in a funny way, i still can't forgive what he did to chase though, but i can't deny that he's an entertaining character lol.
I tried reading this since i really liked both the spin offs, but i honestly couldnt get into it, idk i'm just not that fond of the main characters, it's not a bad story per se, especially compared to BL standards, but I'd honestly say that in my opinion, its the weakest of the three. And honestly if it doesnt have much importance to the other two story i might as well not read it since it has a lot of chapters.
i feel like this is one of the best written conflicts in bl I've read in a long time, it doesn't feel forced, and characters aren't frustratingly misunderstanding each other and stuff added just for the "angst", even if it goes against the characters , it feels natural, understandable from both sides (not that I'm supporting heejaes behavior, but i understand why he's acting like that), and most of all uncomfortable, cause that's how conflicts are. Lowkey hat's off to the writer, it really does feel like they really poured their heart into it, wish this got WAYYY more recognition than it is, If this was like a movie or a book I'm sure it would've been more widely recognized, shame that web comics aren't a mainstream form of media.

I really don't see the point of triple posting really, it's not like they're getting any money from this, i think? Plus on top of that I'm pretty sure they're AI translated too. Idk how to explain it but it kinda sucks out the personality of the story in ny opinion I would much rather have slower releases with human translation than three on top of one another, genuinly ruins the flow of the story. Plus its like every manhwa on this site too.

Ngl i don't have a big problem with the story and the characters, but everything just feels so exposition-y, and the dialogue's feels kinda fake, every chapter someone goes on a tangent to explain something of the world, and the way they talk is also always like they're trying to give exposition instead of just talking like real people.

Despite everything i think there's some things about Crompton that we don't know yet, i personally don't think he is a like a really bad person, i mean of course his action are really weird. But i don't think they come from a place of hatred towards garam. I might be like completely wrong about this though. Although it is pretty clear he despises heejae. And he's the one thats probably most outwards about it. Others are traumatised, but Crompton especially seems to actually do something about his hatred, even giving up on piano completely and pursuing something else. And he has clearly turned all the other students more against heejae. Unlike the other students, i feel like he's the one who has moved on the least despite being the oldest student. And heejae definetly has concerns, he's definetly worried that Crompton might plant seeds of doubt in garams mind, or even use his influence to do something. But at the end, i still think theres a part of Crompton story, or something about him thats missing really. So i think i'll wait a few more chapters for that really
Ugh why do i hate literally every single character. Everyone just forgives the ML and lets him do anything cause he likes the MC even if its lowkey bad. The MC does not need to hear anyone out no matter who it is. He has every right to be angry at them without hearing the reason, and the supposedly good guys don't even acknowledge it and move on to 'gray bad' like its nothing. Which just lowkey seems a distraction from all the absolutely horrendous things the ML is doing to the MC
