THIS omg i think the problem lies in how queer media was in general and maybe still it sometimes, and we often seen queer relationships being fetishized. so these so called old fujoshis don't really care about them as real people, but just some"other". im sure if it's their own form of straight media they'd call out rape (in most cases im not saying all), or at least there would be some kind of controversy, but when it's queer relationships there's this weird idea that it's okay since it's not the "normal" straight relationship. and queer media, for the longest time, has portrayed the same. it's insane literally how many manga/manhwa/manhua(s) have rape and people are okay with it :/ (sorry for the rant)
