I bet in the end it turns out it was just a giant misunderstanding, and the husband didn’t really cheat, they’re just bad at communicating, as per the norm of these kinds of stories. You were an adult in your past life and you just forgive that kind of behaviour? I really don’t understand these sorts of plots…
