I was so so SO scared when MC ‘married’ the child king. Like what no? Ew. I’m here for a hot love story wtf is this?? But luckily they got separated! Like obviously the child king fell in love, but our MC was just kinda warming up to him and got to definitely care about him but not romantically/sexually (other then maybe his omega instinct wanting an alpha but MC is no pedo thank god)

But I’m so happy that they got separated for almost a decade! They even thought each other was dead, meaning they had no ‘tie’, obligation or ‘waiting’ for the other. They were free to (maybe) love another. Ofc this didn’t happen but thank god they basically didn’t exist to each other.
So no grooming or ‘raising’ a partner (ew) took place, still 18 and 26 is… weird BUT! It’s fictional and historical romance, and no manipulation or trickery was used so eh, it’s fine ig. (but why not wait 10 years instead of 8? They would have been 20 and 28? That would have been way better imo, both for story suspense but also why not? No real difference other than positive would have come from it. So why not? Why go for the youngest possible within legal limits)

If they didn’t get separated this would have been really REALLY gross and I would have definitely dropped. I probably would have dropped too if one/both knew the other was alive and was trying to find them or was waiting for them.

I’m so so glad they got to truly ‘reunite’ after a full on total tie break. They truly didn’t know the other still existed! THANK GOD.

Some PLEASE update this I’ve been waiting for 3+ years ;-;
I remember when I read the last chapter as it was “new” :C
I hadn’t even made an account back then!!
So I am on my knees, please PLEASE update it! (Or gimmi the raws >:[ I’ll translate and clean it myself)

It starts off so good, with space for character development for both MC and ML

But I really only see MC “improve”, yes in his own childish way, but he actually tries…
It feels like the ML is just looking down on him all the time, for no good reason either. And the one reason he had in the beginning was resolved but no real behavior change from him…
it doesn’t actually feel like the ML loves the MC.
It makes sense in the beginning because of how rocky their relationship starts off, but again there is no real change in behavior from ML. he just fucks the MC and then everything is good?? (If it was me my heart would be shattered) It felt like MC was the only one in love… :(

In the end their relationship just felt so cold especially because of ML and his overall rudeness… I really liked the MC and would have loved to see him in a loving and silly relationship! I love that type of character! But he was just unnecessarily hurt by ML so many times and there was no real “resolution” either!

I actually might have wanted MC to get together with the military nerd in the beginning! That would have been such a cute/unusual combo!! And would have given him that marriage and love that he wanted since the beginning :D (and the nerd seemed pretty aggressive in bed sooooo ^3^)

Edit: Just read the latest releases, and yay they got married. But still we barely get a “how ML came to love him after hating him” it just kinda happened? I guess through sex and just being attracted to each other/spending a lot of time together. But still don’t really get any heartwarming, wholesome or blissful love or “falling in love” moments, from mainly ML :(

I’m also just a sucker for actual like love and affection being told/shown! It’s just makes it believable that they actually like/love each other. Still just feels out of nowhere from ML and it’s just takes away form everything ;-;

Didn’t wanna finish it cuz I got bored with mc. (Stopped at like chapter 20 ish)

I do LOVE that the seme is like just a good person and an overall green flag (which is something kinda rare in omegaverse genre (sadly) I really liked him and wanted to know more about him but…..

The uke tho.. he is just so boring! He ofc has a lot of trauma and just an overall shitty life, which is totally fine and can be really interesting story/character wise, and you can really care and root for such characters. But still, that’s all I feel like he has, trauma, sad, scared, helpless. <— it’s can be done well ofc, but imo not this time.. I felt like he had no ambition, no real *want*, no real personality other than :( (Ofc, logically we know he wants out of the situation, I’m just frustrated that he has no “fight” and I don’t wanna just pity him)

He has moments where he doe’s “push” for something, gets (kinda of) angry and stands up for himself. But that falls flat when the reader have had no other actions or thoughts of annoyance, anger or determination form him.

I guess I’m also just bored and tired of the “mega twink, uwu, babydoll baby, poopy eyes, so cute yet so seductive (?) dense lookin’, so perfect and pretty, omega, uke.” Character designs — it can ofc work if the character’s personality is actually interesting or work with that design! But all this uke has is his face, BUT EVEN THATS BORING!
At least have a quirk or something.


^^ I’m ofc ranting and this is just my opinion. if you enjoy it fuck yea, that’s why we read this stuff! But if you’ve read the whole thing and he actually does gets, i dont know, a Personally other then traumatized, helpless omega. Hit me up.
