Hey, everyone! Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of low ratings on some BLs that I don’t think deserve it....(?) Maybe it’s just a matter of preference, but I wanted to ask if it’s because of AI uploaders, many titles have multiple AI uploaders posting the same chapter over and over again, and maybe that’s why people are getting frustrated and giving some titles low ratings. What do you guys think? I’ve always prioritized looking for BL titles with high ratings to read… now I’m confused, should I give low-rated BLs a chance now…?
I’ve seen some of the best bl on here have low ratings and the most overrated trash ones have extremely high ratings, don’t trust ratings just read and see how you like it
I never considered ratings all that much tbh. People give low rates for some many different reasons and sometimes it's exactly for the reason that I would like that manhwa in specific. There are also many stories with very high ratings that I hate with passion, so if you find it interesting, give it a try or skim through some of the pages in the albums and form your own opinion.
I've learned not to trust the ratings on here AI or no AI. But to try to answer your question, yeah maybe that plays into it but I think you are seeing an increase of that because recently a lot more people have found this website either through tiktok, either because their previous website of choice closed down.
And it's not just because of those AI teams. I also know that some people give low ratings to authors they don't like for ex. Others will trash a story if it contains immoral or taboo topics even though they went into the story knowing it was going to contain contain those things. Basically a lot of the ratings are very often based on nothing honest.
My answer has no structure but I'm too lazy to do anything about it
I just know that if Han were a real-life celebrity and their relationship were public, there would be an hour long video rant about how Han is suffering in his toxic relationship, how he deserves better, and how Heejae is an abusive boyfriend. Every day, Heejae would be trending on Twitter, getting canceled for the 10000000 time (and sometimes rightly so). Twitter would LOVE to talk about their relationships
