I think he was doing that to isolate Jinha, isolate from his parents and to make the him feel alone from everybody but for Won, especially since Jinha doesn’t really like his older brother that it makes him crazy and didn’t want to be reminded of him so Jinha just depends on Won instead cuz he wasn’t doing that to him (apart from trying to make him seem like Jinseo) and it pretty much would’ve left a really heavy lasting mark on him when he found out since he was so sick of hearing about Jinseo all the time just like how Jinseo felt when this happened to him too
won already explained it actually! he used compassion to isolate jinha thinking won was the only one there for him, and used anger to drive jinha insane and make a lasting impression of won in his mind so he wouldn’t forget him. those two strong emotions won used was to make an impression to jinha, so he did things purposefully like making jinha think he’s using him as a replacement for his brother but that’s not what he’s actually feeling. he noticed from his past relationship with jinseo that anger would leave a lasting impression on others so he used the same method to jinha in order to trigger his past memories to comeback.
Literally the SECOND Dan starts calling him jaekyung instead of Mr. Joo we gonna know the end is in sight. Patiently waiting :,
