Omg guys ykw I need to reread this now that we know Jake is a cop, bcuz it completely changes what all of Shin’s dialogue about him being a merciful and all the sexy talk about cop uniforms means to Jake. We don’t see Jake’s thoughts often (I literally only recall once) but we can still infer from his very subtle reactions and mumblings about it
