It’s good and bad it reminds me of those fanfics I read back in 2011 where authors were more unhinged. ATP nothing phases me like read the tags I expected this but I still have opinions. Felt bad for Won Dae, let’s be honest he’s been abused, toxic relationship, bullied. It’s not a good life tbh, both MC and ML suck at communication and then all of a sudden everything is resolved in a chapter when the abuse spans 4-5 chaps and the smut is every other chapter, like let’s just gloss over everything that happened to the MC and forgive ML for treating him that way. Oh you may say, “but ML does speak up about his treatment and apologizes so…” nah man I don’t get him, “Instead of helping him I made it worse.” Author you did it again, you know what you’re doing. Why does it keep going through this cycle of lovebombing > abuse > forgiveness > misunderstanding. Bruhski turn your brains off and enjoy. I skimmed a little, you know, there’s such a thing as too much smut. There’s only so much you can enjoy until you’ve seen them in every position that you have to do cosplay. Turned my poor innocent Won Dae into a pervert to satisfy your f*tish. I like the plot and I want more PLOT. Well anyway, I read everything because I can and I wanted to and I read worse.
Does anyone have any BL recs that are wholesome? I don’t have anything against the Jinx genre (ya, you know, Jinx is a genre of its own lol angst + abuse + Docile uke x Crazy Seme etc. example: Swallow You Whole (Yaoi), It Starts with Isaac (Yaoi), Monday'saviour (Yaoi) and so onnnnn…)
I need something wholesome the complete opposite so pls recs anyone…

Since I lost all my reviews with the last maintenance, I can't give you more than a few name you most likely already read : Punch Drunk Love (some other work of this author are great too, check them out), Renchin! (That's not a webtoon but a 2 volumes manga), The Sacred Serpent's Seduction (main story done, side story on-going, veeeeery cute)

I reread The New Employee and You and I can’t do this often when there’s nothing good out. Great healthy relationships. If you’re looking for more meaningful deep stories the goat is TURNING and you have to read the novel since the manga is far behind
