My HC is that Yujin had to release a deep breathe and jokingly tried to release the rising tension by saying “let’s be peaceful please” because Hyunje stared at him with those bedroom eyes one panel prior and was told not to seduce him, and that briefly instigated Yujin imagining himself being pinned down by Hyunje. The intensity of the brief flash of imagination left him both breathless and unnerved so he had to diffuse the tension ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
The implication that Sung Hyunje felt he was being seduced means that a SPARK OF LUST blossomed within him no matter how brief a moment. like did the heteronormative part of the fandom get that or be able to make that kind of instant connection/inference??? it's so funny to imagine.

It's really fun having other characters weigh in or talk about the progress between Yujin and Hyunje's relationship. It reflects how central it is to the plot, and how they influence each other. I must say tho, those panels where yujin and hyunje are separated by some form of balcony like in the ship, and today's update and looking up or towards each other is giving some real romeo and juliet ass vibes if i must say. Ahhh(▰˘◡˘▰)
as much i love all the HJYJ content, I want another yoohyun central arc to reveal more of his intense/destructive side to Yujin, and yoohyun revealing his insecurities and feelings of not being wanted by his parents, AND have a resolution that yujin accepts and loves all his rights and wrongs. or just more brother drama. kinda wish yoohyun would get some sense that yujin is hiding things from him. Hyunje is so central as a character because he is the one person who has an inkling of things being not what it seems with yujin even if he doesnt know the full truth. that makes their relationship so fun and interesting, it does however create a monopoly for hyunje to be yujin's confidant if he ever needs to reveal something about the future. Kinda want the same opportunity for yoohyun too but he's just too happy just having his hyung by his side
