I've seen this recommended quite a few times over social media as cute and wholesome.
I made it to chapter 20, and after reading some of the comments I've decided to drop it. There is too much angst for me and it's getting into a toxic theme. How is this wholesome?
This is probably why it's rated lower than some would like it to be.

Seriously? Constant anxiety over his obsession and running away when things don't go his way.
Definition of angst within a relationship:
angst is the experience of intense, persistent doubt, worry, or fear within a romantic relationship, often manifesting as insecurity, overthinking, and a constant need for reassurance
But not enough to be called angst? Like I get it but the whole story wrapped more in sweetness and Smut than angst tbh. (You can't even feel it most of the time.) Anyways, you already dropped it so there's no need persuading you about it.
I have been collecting the physicals of this, and I'm at a point that I no longer want to. Simply, because I no longer feel like supporting the author. This is one of my favorite BL manhwa stories and this new chapter is utterly disappointing. To me, it's almost like those who enjoy toxic stories pushed for some to be added here but CBAW is not (or wasn't) geared towards that audience. I think this should have been done when it was done. And this added (unnecessary) season should have been a new manhwa altogether. I'm very disappointed and seriously contemplating cancelling any pre orders of the next volume of the physical copies
No I agree this story was my comfort story for years the one I’d go back to to reread when the toxic relationships in others got too much and now this dark story line like it’s not even like we didn’t have a dark story plot like why show us that red head from a while back getting kidnapped and literally doing nothing with it?
