I don’t get why anyone feels bad for a particular character and gets mad when someone feels bad for a different character. Why should we prioritize another characters feelings over the other? They all did this to themselves hello that’s why the manga is called Love or Hate. Joowon and Haesoo were toxic and they knew it and Take is manipulative too!!! They all show their love in unhealthy ways which can be seen as hate but they’re not even sure of what to call it themselves, that’s why they’ve all been struggling. Stop feeling bad for one character and putting others down for feeling bad for another and enjoy the story, thank you. Thank you to the creator for this story, it’s beautiful and I love it, and thank you to the translators for providing it to us.
As many people have said, I also believe that all the “Hyungs” are real and are all different aspects to his personality. But since one “Hyung” has already been eliminated, it is possible that one aspect has also been eliminated. Earlier in the story, Doyoung has only been briefly meeting with Hyung over lunches and such and therefore the probability of him having a deep understanding of who Hyung is quite small. Doyoung most likely only has his own perception of who he is and is basing his decisions off of that. While I, as many people, hope for a good ending to the story, it would be quite interesting if Doyoung is instead punished for his selfishness of hoping Hyung would be this perfect person. He would be left with no Hyung at all or instead a mere fraction of who he once was and now has to suffer the consequences.
Why punish Doyoung though? It's not uncommon for someone to like someone without fully knowing everything about them. That is why you get to know them and that is what he was doing. It wasn't like hyung wasn't interested in getting to know him either. That part of your theory wouldn't be fair. And also you if come off like your perfect to other people how can one not believe that you aren't especially when the person that who is looking at you is someone who likes or love you?
God that last chapter was so beautifully drawn and articulated... The beginning of Season 2 had me worried because it seemed like the quality of the art dropped, but I am glad to see that it has evolved into a different art style that is also gorgeous. The writing of the Manhwa is well thought-out and doesn’t feel rushed. I like the inclusivity of multiple characters to really build the story and the background of the country instead of it constantly just being the two love interests.
