I'm reading this and I'm thinking the ratings and some comments are definitely overglazing this, there's people who probably have been waiting for some dark/action or psychological yuri, and I do like the protagonist being irredeemable actually, but it's a bit too highlighted how she's a bad person and herself by other people around her like we get it.
I also do not like how the girls she gets with are lolis, yeah I know she's not good but that doesn't mean I have to be alright with the pedo stuf?? It would've been so much hotter if it was a bunch of women like in black lagoon tbh plus the titties are drawn like they're water like most gooner series which is a bit annoying in my yuri (personally)
Besides I do actually fw the concept a lot even if I don't find it super original like I said I see why people wanted something like this for a long time, I also don't care about the author's dubious tweet of more 10 years ago and decided to give it a try besides everything. I do think other yuri should've "deserved" being animated more but the ratio of yuri getting an anime is so bad I'll stfu lmao
I mean we're practically getting another season by introducing a new villain? Fine to me but the latest chaps stuns were a bit too much I get that Della is rich but acting smart is what made him rich right? I don't think we need any more proof that he's crazy otherwise it just makes me take him less seriously idk
Okay why are the sketches so much more beautiful that her digital art geuninly pretty I am not the kind of person to make fun of the art style unless it's seriously horrendous but damn, in a good criticism way the colors felt so flat and we lost the pretty shading she can do irl, I also dislike the overly clean lines in comparison, I still think she should've hired a writer to support the story but damn
Ah... The novel goes in so much depth on what the main character is feeling internally, I guess it's all cut otherwise there would be 30 bubble thoughts of him jist explaining his deep desires about being hurt and overpowered but if anyone is into this go check it out on novel updates (to read you need to make an account):3
Basically the protagonist Cheong-ra is a martial artist from Moonlit sect while Dang Ran-yeong is a bit of an controversial figure in the cultivation world who knows how to use poisons, they have various encounters like their first one and then join forces to eredicate an evil cult, the plot focuses a lot on the protagonist's sexual fantasies (who secretly likes being manhandled and violated) being heavily conflicted about them too, while they slowly get more close to each other because they match each others freak he's also ashamed of this, I haven't finished it but I think it's interesting however having advanced in the novel I have to admit it's a bit too harsh even for me, since the manhua usually cuts out some parts maybe it will be a bit more lighter
I don't remember the usual way this manwha has chaps updated but wouldn't monthly help the artist more with less pressure? I genuinely lost track of how it used to be so maybe it already was monthly lmao I just think it may be too stressing to do weekly especially when the artstyles is still more cured in comparison to other ones
Its every 10 days! That's why every chapter feels so far apart. A lot of readers are just too attached w every update ig that's why more waiting made a lot of noise.
I think its better if artist also adapt a break every 4 uploads. A know a lot of manhwa that does that. Cause it helps give an artist a scheduled rest and at the same time keeps the quality consistent.
An example is "fate makes no mistake". It's kinda a common joke there why its still ongoing after all these years(just finished this year, 160 chapters in 6 years)
