As someone who had been reading this since season one. I was very sad seeing they brought it back only to make the story dark and upsetting. I think they could have ended it with them being happy and did side stories of their life. I dont think they author needed to have them suffer or go through what they did. Im kind of disappointed the author went that route. Either way, I love taesung and haebom and think they 100% deserve their happy ending.
imho The problem lay not so much in the dark storyline as in the weak plot. The story was completely illogical and unrealistic.
yeah the problem is because the dark themes were not handled very well and particularly it suddenly went hella depressing out of nowhere without any real pay off At all
Season 5 just feels out of place with the rest of the story.
