Overall, the story is fine, communication is their and all—glad they resolve each other’s differences and the non-biological brothers finally come to terms.. i just had this feeling that there is something lacking between the chemistry of each pairs.. like at some point i feel detached with the story esp. the romance part..well i just concluded that maybe it’s just my preference.. Another switch couple hihi~ this is really good as a laid back read, slice of life and no heavy drama on romance just couples navigating their love life—not perfect but felt more real
Even in the novel, before Dane’s influence on Grayson, I always saw Grayson as a very linear character. Whatever you input into him is what you’ll get as the output. If you tell him something is a punishment, he’ll accept it as a punishment without questioning whether it’s fair or deserved.
The same goes for the way he helps people. He doesn’t know what the kid did, but the moment the kid says he’s being punished, Grayson accepts it at face value and joins him. He isn’t evaluating the circumstances—he’s simply responding to the information he was given.
That’s one of the reasons I find his character so intriguing. He’s perceived as an evil person, but when you dissect the way his mind works, he comes across as surprisingly simple-minded rather than calculating. His actions can be cruel, but the thought process behind them is often much more straightforward than people expect.
The reason i love this is more of how moondae’s mind works—i love characters that really thinks critically—the fact that he didn’t get swayed to cheoryeong’s taunting is so good~ can you just block him permanently? Also what does that other group says?—justice serve?!—heck they’re just riding in the controversy backlash from another group, they should’ve made an effort if they wanna show they deserve it —now Testar’s gonna show you what a real monster rookie is like ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Pilsang i’m crying with you too! For Pilsang it’s really hard to confess his feelings especially since Jooeon keeps on mentioning the researcher-subject relationship they’ve had, so he already knows he’s just gonna get rejected and might also be hated by Jooeon—drawing a line between them which would hurt him more.. so Jooeon you really need to step up if you want Pilsang to stay with you—but rn i’m afraid you’re gonna loose him and would never get that talk after your urgent matter
Normally, it won’t matter if a group wins or loses ROTY—since sometimes it’s predetermined but in Moondae’s situation—he better get that award! He deserves it too! Heck he’s working more than his company for the group’s output
