I think Jae is finally starting to understand that there is a problem with Kim Dan. He is developing empathy maybe just a little bit that he hasn't himself realized yet. I know he has been toxic but haven't heard his part of story for him to become such an ass (that won't justify some of his behaviour but still). They had a contract, Dannie fell for him even when he knew how he was treated, Jae did not know Dan was drugged (i think he found out later?), he did pour soda on dan. and he is a bitch for that. I just thought i needed to speak with both of them in consideration because dan agreed to sex for money contract, got treated poorly, still fell in love, got treated badly, distanced himself. Jaekyung the whole clueless bitch. I think now that jae has started developing a kind a "strange emotion" that he didn't feel before after so being apart, he needs to beg and beg until dannie comes back with him. I want to feel good to see jae's character development.
hopefully, his first step towards kinda character development but arc. key word : hopefully.
