There was absolutely no point in adding the score system into the story. It didn't make sense that the numbers fluctuates, and just served no purpose in general. The story would be the same without it.
On another note, I like scummy characters like Xiao Xiao, it was a nice read.
The prince doesn't have a single ounce of selfcontrol. He is in the presence of a royal guest and his future brother in law, and he still allows himself get distracted by a woman of all things. I'd want to ruin his kingdom too.
