I like this story a lot. The main couple explores kink and healing in a way that feels really honest. Highly recommend reading Chouno’s backstory manga so you get a clearer picture on who he is, thought it’s not for the faint of heart. He’s gone through a lot and I’m glad he found someone who’s compatible with him in a lot of senses—both sexually, in that he’s happy to receive the sort of treatment Chouno gives out, and personality wise, in that he’s very committed, respectful of emotional boundaries, and has a lot of love to give.

Argh this one was not my cup of tea at all. I love dom/sub stories but the whole cheating thing really rubbed me the wrong way. It’s one thing to sleep around when you’re not exclusive but the whole seme doing play with someone else and then comforting the uke when he found out just left a bad taste in my mouth, ack
Oh man the scene where yamadera suddenly feels like a scared child again but is brought over the threshold…ough that got me good he’s the worst but i think he’s like one of those feral kittens who hiss and bite when held because they’re not used to it and have learned to accept pain but eventually calm down and crave warmth…and sayo is such a warm and caring person…the power dynamics are delicious and I really hope we get to see them flip completely with an absolutely whipped and pathetic yamadera chasing after sayo like a little kitten
Man after reading Sleeping Dead I came back to reread this one because I was so convinced that the chubby guy who was bullied in that one was Hitoshi, and this story took place prior to Sleeping Dead. Didn’t turn out to be the case but would’ve made sense
Love this author’s works. She writes such good stories that sort of fall outside the limits of friendship or romance, or end in that space right before the romance happens. It’s so heartwarming and sweet.
This would’ve been a high rating for me if it wasn’t for the amnesia plot at the end. Total bait and switch
I reread this manga periodically and no joke s big part of it is because the uke has leg hair…that stuff’s hot
This is so good and underrated, I can’t believe I hadn’t heard about it until literally tonight. The development is really sweet and the plot takes a really interesting turn. Loved it
