But many ship the mc with a boy because they are the two main protagonists and the whole book is like centered around them a bit? Idk If that makes sense, but like they get the most interesting backstory, screen time, etc and their relationship is the most expanded upon.

their relationship is teased the most, ESPECIALLY in the original webnovel. singNshong (i see it spelled differently depending on the translation T_T) have said it’s up to the reader’s interpretation, and there’s a LOT of subtext for the two of them, beyond normal friendship/bromance/even romance.

it’s not a BL, kim dokja (main character) and yoo joonghyuk (other main character)’s relationship transcends all normal labels, it is anything and everything, including romantic moments. it’s just not explicitly canon, and is open to interpretation.

they never do anything while he's mentally a kid, hes only like that at the start, he returns to normal after a few chapters. but i still think you were gonna drop this anyway bc ml will SA the mc in later chapters

Have been, but they don’t come out nearly as fast as the unofficials. Tried paying to read chapters too and the site won’t accept my visa debit, so I’m stuck here either waiting forever for officials are cringing HARD at the dumb jokes this translator keeps putting in when they’re focusing on how a hostage rape victim is reacting to different things

then just leave it, it’s been obvious for so long that this is literally what the author writes, no one’s forcing you to read it. and imo, the translator can do whatever they want with their translation. you're not even paying for it, so i don’t really think you have the right to complain. and maybe just find another unofficial translation, or you can translate it on your own

it’s literally the translator’s choice, if you don’t like the jokes, that’s fine, but saying they “have no business” doing it is kinda unnecessary, because they’re literally the TRANSLATOR, they can do whatever they want, they’re allowed to have their own humor and style when translating. if you don’t like their jokes, then don’t read their work. “it’s like they’re 15” okay?? and what exactly is your point? their age has nothing to do with whether you personally find their jokes funny. they’re literally the one doing the translation for free, it's not like you're paying for their work in the first place. so just move on rather than acting like the translator is obligated to translate it exactly how you want

My actual opinion is: “stop putting jokes in the manhwa it’s fucking stupid and it doesn’t fit with what’s happening. The situation and how the characters are behaving isn’t supposed to be funny and if you find it funny I want to know what wrong with you”

Not triggered, it’s just annoying and doesn’t fit with what’s happening. The situation isn’t supposed to be funny and the unofficial translator is going out of their way to try and make it funny, so I just want to know why they’re doing that

And I have been waiting for the officials. They’re uncensored and better anyway, but the person who’s been putting those out has dipped off somewhere and hasn’t been around for a while
