The whole point of toxic BL is that it's toxic at the beginning (usually with rape too) and you stick around to find out how this mess gets resolved. It's either you like it or you don't, really.

Toxic BL usually has. That's just how it is. But there are plenty of BLs that aren't toxic BLs.

I don't have a problem with toxic/rape/ problematic stuff in BL, I'm just bored of debt rape plot the same way I'm bored of shitty isekais. Should've made that clearer sorry

I'm okay with toxic bls but i wish they would chill with the rape or at least acknowledge it as such, a lot of bls put SA or rape scenes and just never address it. It's treated as just a "bad thing" the top did, it's just treated with so little care and compared with just stuff thats asshole behavior, it annoying

Yes, that's just how toxic BL works. The only solution for you to escape it is to not read it. The very concept of toxic BL mostly includes that.

Tbh it is way more chill than when I started, because at least now it's in the toxic BL category, with its own audience, it is a whole subgenre that you can avoid.

Back when I started it was standard even for stuff that were supposed to be fluff. It was like "bro let me rape you to show my love" and uke going "oh why am I suddenly falling for this man".

A good prime example of that is Escape Kyuugou. That was a standard start of plot, like confessing their feelings was just rape. Look up Koisuru Boukun. This is what it was.

So now the fact that it is actually giving you the option not to read, making it a seperate category and all, is way more chill than before. But I guess that's where your win ends, can't have the butter and the money for it I guess.
