Not the yaoi fan acting like they're above this just because it's all about sex. It's literally tagged mature for a reason. What exactly were you expecting? And let's not pretend most yaoi isn't heavily centered around sex either. Half the time, the male lead is a rapist, yet somehow that's where you suddenly draw the line? So what's even the point of saying "this is why I read yaoi" when your own favorite genre is filled with the same or even worse content?
How do people come to the conclusion that a shitty straight story deserves criticism, but a shitty yaoi story somehow gets a free pass? Being called homophobic just because you didn't like a yaoi story pretty much sums up how ridiculous some people can be.
