I love this story because it's not your typical reincarnation story and it's so dark and twisted instead. I love Psyche and Medea as characters because they each have their own motivations for their actions. But I really don't understand how Psyche gets so much hate when the author clearly shows her side of the story too. Because if this story was in Psyche's perspective from the start and not Medea's, I know y'all wouldn't be as biased toward Medea.
I understand that Psyche is not everyone's favorite character because she betrayed Medea. But you should at least sympathize with her and her situation. She's kinda like a more twisted version of Rapunzel. Like she was stuck in a basement with a crazy mother when she was a child, not "coddled." She's been brainwashed and probably mentally fucked with by her mother until she was "saved" by her so-called god. Psyche is mentally weak and not ok in any way. So, for her to get so much hate for her actions is unfair. Yeah, it's terrible that she betrayed Medea who was kind to her and offered her friendship. But at the end of the day, everyone is thinking about themselves in this story, even Medea.
From the most recent chapter, I love how both girls are gonna be able to realize the truth and destroy the real villain of the story: the prince.
I was thinking the exact same thing. I also like how Psyche regains some of her mental strength while she is in Medeas body. Like she is able to speak and act with confidence like she never has before.
Plus the focus on sisterly love and the friendschip that is growing between the two woman is a real plus for me. So many stories would put these two against each other and bicker about the prince. I hope they will continue to build and strenghten each other in the continueing of the story!
