no bcs his situation can be easily twisted that way imagine having it all, being smart and hardworking while also having an old, handsome, snd rich boyfriend supporting you... he's a walking hardworking nepo baby atp

argh the manhwa is not giving the novel justice (tjo it's really fast pacing) but still, it's much better in the novel

paradoxical created a topic of Happy Together

teasing us like that... i love it so much. no dirty talks. no corny lines. just two dudes hugging each other like they've been married for years.

wait am i imagining things or i already read a chapter where he saved the children again?? or maybe i read it in the novel IDRK

I like the last question tho totally understandable

uhm i feel like in order for their relationship to deepen (both MC's relationship to the ML and the guild) there should have been more gate exploration and deep conversations. ngl, this just feel so rush considering the fact that it is a hidden skill meant to sacrifice a life.

i was like this the whole time--> ( -_-')?

anyways, i recommend Traces of the Sun if you guys like more of this genre.

i so love the intimacy in this manhwa. like, you don't have to be putting them asses out just to bring the readers ecstasy.

paradoxical created a topic of Unchanged Man

This manhwa is so deep that you literally can’t stop reading because every chapter feels important. Like, wdym Yuwon was actually the one getting bullied during their high school days? I LOVE unreliable main character narrators so much, and I genuinely think Yuwon has this sort of ā€œsavior syndrome.ā€ It’s so peak.

Now I’m wondering who really killed the bullies because of that one panel where Yuwon confessed that he wanted to give them what they deserved. And oh, not to mention how he keeps having lapses in his memories to the point that he can’t even differentiate reality from his dreams anymore. It’s weirdly uncomfortable yet addictive in the best way possible.

It also makes me think that since Yuwon clearly has something going on mentally, maybe those ā€œcreepyā€ faces Dohun makes are just how Yuwon perceives him from his perspective.

oooh the angst better be worth the read bcs i am dying to see ML's reaction about MC's terminal illness

paradoxical created a topic of Don't Lie

lmao some readers are too used to reading a plot where MC was being beaten up by ML that they found the miscommunication as a conflict a downside for the story let me tell you this... this is a slice of life story. it doesn't have to be so complicated for the characters to be true to themselves.
and the drunk scene holymoly. the characters aren't that stupid as you think either. if MC didn't recognize who he was doing the deed with overnight but came to realize they did it the next day IT WAS ALREADY ADDRESSED. point blank. they just didn't bring it up for some reasons.
yes, the story is VERY PREDICTABLE because no stories are original. it always has to be a remnant of something AND THAT'S OKAY as long it was delivered well. so if you think this kind of plot is boring for you, then so be it but at least try to understand before commenting.

He's in the field of Medicine but decided to ignore the symptoms for turning into an Omega? How far can he fool himself? ik you know you're turning into one stop blocking it with some "I am just a Beta" mindset

paradoxical created a topic of Sweet Shot

Can someone please tell me what chapter is this in the novel??

paradoxical created a topic of The Melancholic Conman

Why are there so many plot twists after plot twists? Can they just leave the MC alone for once?
ANYWAYS if they can erase memories and swap bodies like it’s nothing, why can’t the MC do the same? Is it because he’s too weak? Or too soft-hearted to even try? I hate it even more because it feels like the author completely nerfed him just to make those bastards look stronger, which is completely UNNECESSARY because it only became a plot hole...

And I’m kinda disappointed that it wasn’t the original Director Yoon…

paradoxical created a topic of Sahan

it's still funny to me how fast they got used to seeing 11 years ago Sahan i mean if i were to see a claimed to be dead person, looking the same like how he used to before he go, in front of me... i would sat there with them for 3 days straight without batting an eye

paradoxical created a topic of Cutting Sleeve

I had to swallow my frustration just to read this without getting angry. The author already made the MC and ML awful, but ruining the empress’s character on top of that feels completely unnecessary. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve rooted for the antagonist, he’s the only one who seems rational, especially when he chose to walk away after realizing how cruel the emperor is.

Out of the three of them, he’s the only one who actually has the right to be angry. That’s why it’s so frustrating to see his character being twisted just to elevate the two leads, who don’t even seem to know what they want in life. There were so many chances for the MC to stand on his own, but because of his obsession with the emperor, everything just spiraled further. They both ended up losing themselves to that madness, to the point where the story itself started to feel meaningless.

I hate the emperor even more, honestly. I won’t even lay out the reasons anymore, they’re already painfully obvious.
