the side story is what represents "fuck around and find out" (like literally). siwoo did those things to dohyeok one night to avenge for suha but it backfired to him getting caught in this whole mess
my honest reaction when i first read it; boring, felt like the story concentrates on a horny virgin man with hand fetish. i was so close to drop but then the plot slowly picks up its pace. at first it was like smut without any plot. but then i got attached to it after learning abt uke- him having that relationship/ attachment complex(?), realizing his feelings and whatnots. seme being a softie and affectionate is also what got me caught up in this story. their feelings/ relationship development is so beautiful. glad that i decided to stay and finish it.
i like seme character so much. when there is conflict, hes able to sort it out calmly. he gave uke space and time to collect his thoughts, he didnt just force uke to listen to him so thats what i find it warm and comforting (not to mention how affectionate he is with uke, the warm hugs and random soft pecks/ kisses). he knows exactly what uke is feeling but he didnt push him, in a way he tries to make uke realizes his own feeling. he knows how to love, while uke doesnt. he teaches uke to learn it slowly

bahahah this is the most confusing toxic yaoi ive ever read. i rmbr when i first read the main story, i was impressed bcs of how nontoxic it is (eg asking for consent etc) but later turned out to be a toxic relationship. the uke is so violent with seme like how can u not feel bad after punching and leaving bruises to someone u supposed have a crush on?? hes just so violent, so yandere of him.. but then again, seme stayed and endured it bcs he loves him. if this isnt a toxic abusive relationship, idk what is. however since seme accepted being treated that way so ig theyre a match made in heaven? as long as ure happy ig??
anyway i love how the side story ends- with uke realizing his wrongdoings toward the cute alpha and towards seme, and changed to be better (hopefully). i was abt to throw fists seeing how much of a douchebag he is in both universes. i was especially mad when he treated the alpha he was to marry that way (boi u dont play with anybodys feelings for ur own benefit!!)

i see that jaekyung isnt really that bright eh? took me awhile to realize that hes kinda dense? i felt like there were several occasions in this story that got me face palming at jaekyung for being slow witted. this chap included- him not second guessing the possibility of dan getting drugged/ being drunk (bro is not in his damn self, that much of character development from hating sex to literally begging for it within few days isnt normal unless hes drunk or drugged)
ah one thing i hate about this story the most is how the crown prince allowed the whole serial killing going on despite knowing/ suspecting the suspect just so he can trap uke in his plan. selfish act to fulfill his desire and even had some people killed just so he can get uke wrapped around his finger even longer?? nah man. uke being dumb isnt a problem to cus yknow some ppl has low iq but then again it doesnt make sense for him to be dumb and be the captain who lead most investigation
