It would've been a good story if it was longer that showed how he really tried to win her back. The other girl is a bitch for no effing reason. She was helped by the same girl but because she wanted that guy to like her too she said some rude thing to the mc. Damn pissing me off she's a jealous B!
If you're talking about that red head, President's crush then I fully agree. I think she liked being in control and uses stuff to her advantage and discards what is no longer useful, but will sweetly pick it back up if she finds another use and acts cute to win over the 'audience' who ever they may be (even the previously discarded) to make them feel bad.
The proof is her attitude. She never talked to MC till she 'was in the way' even though she could have been her friend in middle school after that incidence or apologized and thank her right away.
And I loved this story a lot, and I do understand why a lot of people want it to be longer, I wouldn't mind myself ╮(￣▽￣)╭ but...., if the story was longer there was a greater chance to screw up a great story, since a lot of it my 'go in circles' / a lot of repeated scenarios,
... that or the author just needs more encouragement to continue the story, a great oneshot turned story is Beyond the Blindfold ( http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/mekakushi_no_kuni/. the author said it was originally a 1ch. oneshot but it became great, so if this one continues ... I hope it'll be great.
