okayyy so mc is actually a cute, funny, down-to-earth guy despite being born noble (bc he's treated like a commoner/servant due to being an illegitimate child) and he got sent by his tyrannical father in place ( / disguise) of her runaway sister BUT BUUUUTT the duke/ml's reaction after he finds out (way early when a kid caught him climbing the "duchess" window (which he used to go outside)) bc mc revealed himself and everything IS SO .. amicable. they continued the wedding but ofc mc still had to be in disguise (but according to ml having a male duchess had occurred back then but ofc its still uncommon but not... weird? so a teeny tiny bit he didn't mind being married to mc omg i cant explain) AND THEY HAD LATE NIGHT TALKS and ml being so considerate of mc (the thunder scene i swear) so go ahead and read ittt!!!
