I mean, I wish they’d delved into his thoughts more but I’d imagine that while he can kill the guy, what’ll he do after that? Everybody and their mother wants a piece of his ass. And not just anybody- powerful people want him. And he no longer has anybody to protect him given that even the only survivor of his crew whom he thought he could trust held thoughts like that about him. He doesn’t even have a ship anymore either. Not to mention that he only has one leg. What’ll he do when he gets into a dangerous situation out there- run?
