I‘m sad over the rushed ending because this whole time I was excited for what happens when he gets his memories back. I‘m guessing in the novel this part was longer and not so rushed. Here it felt like he was cold one second and suddenly turned soft again.. left me a bit confused and unsatisfied…
Nevertheless I really loved this manhwa!!
Yeah iirc in the novel, it’s when they’re at the pier that he reveals he got his memory back. Also, he doesn’t really change again when he gets his memory back this second time, after all he’s spent the majority of his life as the “old” Soohan. It’s more like, from now on, I’ll let go of my resentment and try to find happiness though I’m still a grumpy bastard, rather than, bam, I’m the new Soohan again!
That's so much better :( It's sad they didn't adapt the novels last arc that good.
And that he's still a bit grumpy and doesn't suddenly change over night into a happy go lucky person is what I've wished for this whole time!!
Ofc I was expecting a change (because memory loss soohan and pre memory loss soohan fused into one and feeling comfortable around his husband).
But in the manhwas last chapters it looked more like he's back to being pre memory loss soohan and lost all his "stern, grumpy,..." character
I'm feeling complicated about side stories for Heewon, because after all this stuff with him trying to get together with Hangyul in the third season, I'd feel icky if he gets together with MC's older brother in the side stories. I really loved them as a potential side couple, but not after he tried to get together with Hangyul .. :(
I just can't see it working out with everything that happened in Season 3. Before that whole love "triangle", it was such a cute pairing whom I really rooted for
But then again, maybe they simply won't end up/teased to end up together in the side stories.

The novel actually has quite a few more details that make it feel more complete
