Yup you're right.. But like the FL's dad says, if he doesn't want FL, he should throw her away.. Not keep her by his side and make her more violent every time he decide to embrace other women.. Thus... All characters are the same.

Funny, the thing is.. the fact that FL is willing to do anything for Ml and folow him no mater what is actaly what makes her the Ideal Empress in the eyes of the nobel! Because she isnt doing it to gain power or to increas her familys power (the two main reasosn women aproach Ml).
Also FL is abusive, but its learne dbehavior.. sadly.. Fls father cheated on her mother with his beloved comcubine who is now his wife.. while Fl's mother was sick in bead.. This ovious favortism caused the servants to niglect FL's mother and Fl.. SO they were only given just enough food and cloths to not starve and freeze to death.. this despite being in the same resident as the Father and comcubine.. who ate luxurious and dressed in the finest while having their every need catored to.. Fl's mother became obsessed with the father and longed for him to look at her again and died thinking he would come see her despite her being only a few meters away from him.. With the mother dead.. Fl was alone in the residens with her motehrs corpse for over a week until a servant noticed the smell... After that the father had no choice but to have FL live in the main house.. also the comcubine was married right after the mother was confirmed dead and was the only person that seemed to care for FL (she just didnt know how to aproach her).. The comcubine preasuerd FL's father into atempting to have a relationship with Fl by telling him" You failed her until now, do you wana live knowing you abandoned her?" The father tried to make FL happy with material good (didnt try to help her emotionaly) so FL is severly emotionaly damaged from neglect in her earlier years.. FO aprea FL the father brough her to the Palace and FL meet Ml.(the prick), FL was interested in him and atracted because he was the first person to show her kindness without pitty.. (Fl became atatched to Ml like a newly hatched chicken when it first sees someone.. She bonded with the Prince).. The princes responce to FL after having helped her was say... "you look juts like an ugly Dog Flower, not cute at all".. all the while he was thinking "wow shes to Pretty just like a peach flower!".. After this FL followed Ml and did all she could to be next to him..And his facade of hating her became who he is.. deep down he loves FL but he is so much in denial he hurts her for the sake of burrying his love for her..

Also.. you say FL bullies.. but the thing is.. that how it is to be a lady in the palace.. either your a Flower or your a weed the flowers get rid off..
When Fl first arived in the palace.. she was the lowest among the women because the prince openly despised her.. aka making her a target... and within the first few months two of FL's personal maids went missing and the other Flowers told her "they must have run away!" while smirking and gigiling only for the two maids to later be found having been beaten to death..and dumped into the river (this was done by the princes favorit "Flower" as a welcome gift to FL). In turne FL grew her inner wall and fought back and climbed her way up to be a ruthless Flower.

And just so you know... The prince knows of all these insidents yet choses to only ever investigate and punish when Fl is involved..He is an Ahole.. And if he hears of an insidnet where no perpitraior is found he blames it automaticaly on FL.. He is an abusive AHOLE.

point is they're both bad people and they deserve each other in that sense, the FL is a stalker who hurts those he cares about like if he loved another woman or the other women were pregnant, she would 100% hurt them and people would still be on her side because she did it for love. Its not that she would make a good empress its that the nobels aka elderly men think she would, this inclused the now emperors father. And yess FL is Stalker ish.. because she is obsessed with Ml.. but Ml knows this yet enables her and even plays with this using it to hurt Fl..
Examples are. Ml will bring in a new woman to his harem and will perpousfully flirt / be loving infront of FL (even if he sodnt like the new woman). Fl will in turne attack said woman and he will "punishe" FL for harming then new woman, yet throw the new woman to the curve right after because she has done what he needed her for.. Also.. Ml is in love with FL... All the memories we see and the comparing his new "love intrest" to because of her "peach flower smell" are FL... he is overlapping his memories of FL with his new favorit comcubine because said comcubine remembers Ml only showing her intresst when she woar said perfume. ALso the reason FL nolonger usese Peach Flower perfume is because ML has literaly told her "YOu STINK, UGLY" every time she has used it.. and yet while Ml said those works he was thinking "Oh she smells so lovely and looks so beautiful, its like she is not from this world"...

ALso Ml only hates on FL because HIS FATHER LIKED HER!!.. After seeing his strict father liking FL, ML started to literaly abuse young FL because he knew she would follow him so he would go into a forest and sneak back out!, Push her down a hill and go home.. and yet everytime FL would just to Im Fine It Dosnt Hurt..SO now he is perpousfully harming her because he wants her to break and say "it hurts".. But she wont because she knows he hates weak women.. So even when she is on the verge of colapsing from pain.. Fl will push through and not show it infront of him... And the prick hates her for IT!
The reason FL dosnt show Ml her weak side is literaly HIS DOING! Because when they were younger she showed him her weak side and he BERATED HER FOR IT!
Ml literaly misstreats FL because deep down he likes her and dosnt want to atmit it, so he finds ways using FL to justify his mistreatment by going "she is a Poisonous Flower!"... But SHe is literaly doing what all his other FLOWERS are doing!
All his other Flowers are aloved to herass new comcubines, punish maids and so forth, but the seconds its FL "oh Shame on her!".

Its like FL's father has said "if you dont want her, set her free". The problem is that ML wants Fl.. he is just to pridefull to admit it.. thats why he is now favoring his new comcubine.. because she is using what he likes about FL to catch his atention. Yet the reason FL isnt using those things anymore is because back when she did he would tell her shit like " EW you Stink", "That color looks so ugly on you", "You are to clingy", "You are such a crybaby, its anoying", "you are using your injury to cry for my atention, so anoying!" FL Stopped doing all these things infront of Ml and yet he is now mad at her for not caring about her own body if she is hurt and sees he is injured..
Ml is angry that FL wont show when she is in pain infront of him. He is angry Fl wont physicaly cling to him, that she won try to initiate "nightly" interactions.. this despite the one time she tried he had her under house arest for a week..
He hates the perfume FL usese now, the color of her cloths and her hairstyle and makeupstyle.. yet he was the one who told her to put on more makeup and dress more like her rank...

Literaly the ML prick hate everything about FL that she has changed under his "guidance", more like his threat of kicking her out if she didn't change it...

Fl's every look, action and behavior twards ML is what he has guided her to do and be, yet he hates it.. and made her bee this way because he hated the fact that he like the other way, look and smell she had..

I read every word and your comment made me cry. The ml is honestly the worse of the two. He was a monster that created a devil and while she is evil in her own way, she was molded that way because of him. I feel for her.

I don't know if you haven't muted this conversation yet but rereading this I realize something, not one damn person is innocent in this situation. For example, the wife or FL'S MOTHER, chose to hang on to a man who did not love her and therefore died a miserable death (LIKE ISNT SHE A TYPICAL CHARACTER IN A REINCARNATED STORY?). Second the father, most likely married a woman who was beneficial (AS ALL NOBLES DO IN A HISTORICAL DRAMA) but he found true love and made his lover his concubine (which was not uncommon AT THE TIME). Thirdly she is repeating her mother's mistakes (I read a spoiler that said she ran away and she was looked after by a caring man but still chose that piece of shit). Lastly, the ML, he (LIKE YOU SAID HE COULD PUSH HER AWAY BUT CHOOSES NOT TO) he is ... other than that nothing's wrong with him, sure he has to marry a person worthy od being an empress and I don't see her an befitting that role, she is IMPULSIVE and therefore not a good EMPRESS. If you've read this all I have to say is (IF THIS WAS YOU WOULD YOU PUT UP WITH IT? THE ANSWER IS NO! REMEMBER NO ONE IS INNOCENT IN THIS!

1: Fl didnt run away she was kidnaped by one of her husbands ex comcubines who he used to anger FL, FL hurt her and after that Ml threw away the comcubine with the exact words "you have forfilled your purpose".

2: The ex comcubine hate FL because she thinks FL made Ml abandone her.. so she payed for FL to be kidnaped and tied to a tree.. that she then set on fire to kill FL..

3: Ml finds the burning tree with part of FL's cloths on it and thinks she is dead.

4: The man that "cared" for FL was actualy her savior who came acros the tree with the burning FL on it and cut her lose..

5: Fl didnt come back after being saved because over 50% of her body was severly burned and it took months for her to be able to even semy walk and use her arms (burned from waist down and severly scared to).

6: FL didnt returne after recovering because if Ml didnt want her when she was beautifull, why would he want her was deformed?.

7: When not inside the toxic palace and having to deal with the toxic Ml.. Fl is just like any sweet young woman. (Ml spies on her to confirm its her and sees her smiling while playing with children and sees FL comfort a crying girl wkind words). This all means that it was the palace enviroment that made FL evil (she had to be to survive).

8: Ml choses to not inform FL that he has seen her, as he can see being in the palace was a curse rather than a blessing for FL.

9: While FL was "declared" dead Ml only spent time with his favorit comcubine (the biach princess). Hence word spread that "With the vile toxic flower gone, the emperor was happy with the (insert what ever flover the biach princess was)" So Fl thought Ml didnt miss her or care.

aww thank you, I understand now, he's a bigger shit than I thought he was. in the end she chose him so she is still stupid to me but at least they think they're happy together

Originaly she didnt chose him tho, the ending was re writen because readers were unhappy with Fl not getting her "happy ever after".

In the original ending Ml was suicidal and chose to go to war when he let go of FL.
FL hears of the war and that Ml went personaly and gets worried as she still loves him.
Word comes back that Ml is severly injured and Fl runs the long way back to the palace (strugles to as she is partialy cripled).
FL makes it to the palace gates exaustes, praying for Ml to be safe.
Word comes out that Ml died from his injuries and FL falls to the ground. In her despair she sits up against a wall and closes her eyes while praying it isnt true.

The next think we see is FL being awoken by her persinal maids welcomming her back, she gets up and runs over and hugs them. We then see a light and FL is at the tree she first met Ml, Ml apears smiling at her and saying he loves her and they smile and have kids.

In reality when FL sat down and died with her eyes closed.
An ex servant of the palace notices Fl and walks over to wake her, finding her dead from exaustion.
Everything after FL sat down, including the maids and Ml are all her final dream of happiness..
The author rewrote this so that the Dream is not a dream but that all of that did happen aka the happy ending... tho it makes absolutely no sense..
