Why are ppl complaining about the author taking an extended break? Oh my god if you don’t see behind the scene and understand how much work goes into creating a manhwa and YOU’RE READING IT FOR FREE so ppl shut learn to shut up and be grateful for anything we have.
I honestly think it has to do with the fact that lately all the authors use health as the reason for a hiatus

Maybe for some, but honestly having to write a whole story and draw constantly for months or for most more than a few years, is absolutely tiring. Authors have to meet their audiences expectations but they all expect different things. They get so much hate and a lot of people from their audiences, like a lot of this audience, is very unsupportive or merely care for the plot and not the author. They don't deserve it, they authors do. They are trying their best and honestly that is some nerve u have there for critising them for it, "all" authors actually. You try being an author on years of writing a story with being pressured with deadlines, hate but also needing to meet expectations, and the general pressure it puts on your mental health frequently a most of their time and thoughts are being put into their stories and meeting others expectations, even if they are unsupportive (not saying everyone is). If you're going to speak about your opinion, or/and comment to criticse the author, actually consider them and have some empathy otherwise see you just seem like a dick. It's only fair that these authors take long breaks. Be thankful this author is ONLY gone for 2 months, not a year or more like some. They deserve a longer break, to be honest. If the audience is going to hate to not just a story but directly to the author even if indirect, then why should they put in more effort and more of their mental health in trying to please people who are impossible to please? No I didn’t mean they use it as an excuse. Of course they need breaks, and they absolutely deserve them. What I meant to say is that they rarely say they simply need a break because they’re tired or need some time to relax. Most of the time, they say they need a break because of their health, and I think that eventually makes a lot of people stop believing them and they get upset if that makes sense.
