its fiction. mafias are not cute little unicorns that do cute stuff. theres something called SHIFT in stories, u learn that in grade 1 english class btw (i suggest paying attention in school). it was realistic throughout. the fat nasty man Saing him, then Pshikh, and so many other nasty shit that will come next. do you not get that stories have shifts, 99% of stories dont always stay in the one mood, they change back and forth.
this one went through a very different shift that was big but small at the same time. taekjoo was too stupid to trust Zhenya so soon
