i’m reading the novel and yes grayson does become a big puppy. does it excuse what he did? no. chase has every right to be angry and joshua has every right to want to enact revenge. the point in this one is that GRAYSON LEARNS!!! he’s learning. i firmly believe in reading and deciding for yourself and honestly if u don’t think u can keep reading after a few chapters it’s not wrong to drop it? also huge spoiler alerts but I’ll just say Grayson is both a victim of abuse and a perpetrator simply bc he doesn’t understand. he wasn’t taught. he knows what’s wrong and right because someone told him this is wrong this is right but his wrong and right depends on what actions he can do to please the other person so they won’t abandon him. it’s really sad. doesn’t excuse his behavior towards his own fucking brother but there’s a reason I fucking binged the novel and grew fond of my big puppy dog)

I really really agree with what kuroko said so if you want to believe in puppy grayson, you really need to read this series like you haven't read any of the other series!
