reread it again first before reading the last update and idk man I actually loved it. I enjoyed seeing jaekyung's past and learning what lead to him having such a toxic personality. that mfer could never pick up on anyone's feelings, not even his own when he started to feel something for kim Dan. his head was full of being champion and champion only as well as being rich which all occurred because of his father abusing him, his mother abandoning him, the bullying, the poor life he lived. it was interesting to see him slowly understanding kim dans feelings and the pain he had and was going through. Especially because of how closed off he was with people. A character with that type of mindset doesn't fully "change" in one chapter so the second season was great. As for Dan, I understand why he always thought jaekyung didn't feel anything for him. he had every right to ignore his ass but at the same time his character is just too nice for his own good. Pretty sure we all knew he wasn't the type to resent or blame so for him to forgive jaekyung was a given. the first season was obviously toxic af but the second season explained what lead to everything transpiring and I know not everyone enjoyed it but I for one did. I just really hope we get a bunch of side stories of their relationship and see how it has progressed and if they have a few conversations of other shit that happened that weren't talked about.

ok so the way I see it, it's been 8 years since MC had not seen ML. Until eventually he goes as a volunteer to teach the visually impaired (ML) to read in braille. He knew ML would recognize his voice which basically showed him that MC has grown to learn to be independent without needing him and overcame his trauma. Also mc knows ML is on death row and the word "forgiven" is seen on the textbook which I take it as he forgives him for all the pain he's caused (before he dies alone in prison.) And MC smiling when ML asks him if he'll be back could be a silent answer of him saying "no, this will be the last time. farewell"
