If anything, towards the middle of the novel, where Zhenya is saving TJ from missions OPPS spoilers that's where we could've shown the childhood story or Zhenya having ability to have human emotions
In chapter 73, I remember Zhenya in the novel tried to revive Taekjoo by pumping his chest, I remember how it felt like seeing it. Zhenya looks pathetic, reviving a guy that tried to kill you and steal something valuable from you. Like ive never seen a man so high up in the ladder but pathetic in quiet moments like that
