I couldn’t wait so I decided to read the novel. For anyone curious, we’re at about chapter 130. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Basically Xinlu and Taeui talk, Xinlu begs Tay to stay again, Tay declines and says he’s going back to find Ilay in the morning. He’s able to ask his uncle for help getting a passport to go to the airport to try and go to Ilay. While waiting at the bus stop to go to the airport, Ilay finds him. It goes exactly how you’re probably expecting — Ilay doesn’t let him explain and immediately assaults him. He forces Tay to say “I belong to you” and shit like that. TW, it’s very brutal and not a good read. The next morning it’s pretty much completely brushed off, but Tay is able to explain that he was going to find Ilay/didn’t betray him etc. After that it’s basically not brought up again.
Tay decides to stay with Ilay despite everything. They go to live with Kyle in Berlin and more-or-less get along. There is a book 2 where I’m sure it’ll go into more detail about their relationship but this is the gist of book 1’s finale.
I really like the story and the plot of "Passion",but I hate that they brush off the rape IT gets me furious. The Novel and manhwa has potential but Taeui ignoring the rape is heartbreaking,which makes ppl not wanting to read more,even tho in my opinion the story is quite interesting.
