YALL are going crazy rn I didn’t read this one yet- usually I’m a bl reader that reads (almost) anything cause psychological stuff is my favorite but I also like to read anything that’s just good (preferably psychological genre tho).
I do get both sides, one that’s frustrated with these kind of genre since r*pe IS being used in almost any plot and most of the times it doesn’t even have a story behind it and so obviously people also don’t understand how other people can read this kind of stuff (Also since I heard it has incest in it)- and the other side that just likes to read.
I will make something clear which most people (like me) that read these kind of genre would probably have the same opinion on:
I don’t justify ANY of the bad stuff that happens in a black flag manga/manwha.
I read it for the thrill and overanalyze most of the characters which excites me and makes me hyped for the story.
I can also ignore many shit things that happen especially when I see that a character is actually pretty well written (Passion or Low Tide in Twilight as example).
Tho most of the time I WILL ignore or won’t read a bl if it has incest in it (unless it is a really good story where the bad parts ARENT romanticized then I can personally read it but then it obviously wouldn’t be a bl to begin with- take Killing Stalking as example where the incest part was kind of being thrown into the story as a good bait to make the story interesting.)
Anyone know what the age gap is between them? I’ve been thinking when amber was 11 Tennessee might’ve been in his early 20s maybe(that’s the vibes I got so I’ve been reading this having in mind their gap is like 8-10 years so I wouldn’t ruin the story for me) or am I way to off?
