I understand that the hiatus is taken for health issues. But about the creative slump? I mean, the author took a 1 year hiatus and yet hasn’t planned the plot out in advance?

they might be experiencing artblock or something similar which can happen quite unexpectedly at any moment.. it's especially more likely to happen in regards to health issues
